Question:

I currently have a carrier Air V with remote control that operates the a/c, heat pump and furnace. Will the attwood air command at15028-22 wire up to the carrier wiring harness and remote control work? If not, what will I need to do

The Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump # AT15033-22 uses a different wiring setup than your Carrier AirV air conditioner so you wouldn't be able to just swap them out, but we do have some other options that do connect directly to your Carrier wiring.

The Advent air conditioners # ACCAR135B (13.5K Btu) and # ACCAR150B (15K Btu) come with wiring adapters to connect directly to your Carrier wiring so these are very easy to install in that regards. These don't have a heat pump integrated into them but you can easily add the Electric Heat Strip # ACMHD to remedy that.

If your remote control is wireless then I'm not sure if it will work with the Advent AC units as they don't have a receiver for that, but if it's a hardwired controller then it will be connected to the Carrier wiring and ultimately to the Advent AC unit so they would be compatible.
