Shank Clearance of Pro Series Solo Cargo Carrier # PS1040100

Question:
The distance from the center of hole to the end of bumper is 5.7/8. With the 4inch rise in this unit will the unit still clear the bumper before it starts its rise? Thx

Expert Reply:
The Pro Series Cargo Carrier you mentioned, part # PS1040100 offers 12 inches of clearance between the pin hole and closest portion of the basket portion of the carrier.
The distance between the hitch pin hole and the bend in the shank is 5 inches, but the bend is pretty gradual.
If you look at the photo I provided, you will see the shank dimensions.
