I HAVE A 2018 Chrysler Pacifica LX WITH A DEALER INSTALLED TOW GROUP PACKAGE 36OOLB TOW PACKAGE AND 7 PIN WIRING. WHAT CONTROL BRAKE WOULD I NEED? AND DO YOU HAVE A VIDEO AS TO HOW TO INSTALL IT?

When installing a brake controller on your 2018 Chrysler Pacifica there are easy and straight forward installation kits available. I see you were looking at the Hayes products. The Hayes-Lemmerz Energize III+ Electric Trailer Brake Controller -Part # HA81742B along with the Custom Wiring Adapter for Hayes Brake Controllers - Dual Plug Part # HA81796-HBC will plug directly in to a port under your dash and allow you to install your controller with little hassle.
As an alternative I really like the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 paired with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # TK93VR. The Tekonsha line has always been my favorite when it comes to controllers because they last forever and are very reliable and easy to use. Unless you're going to be towing all of the time this controller will serve you well. If you're planning on towing weekly then I change that recommendation to the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 part # 90195 because it has great diagnostics built in that can help you out with any malfunctions and user presets available for different trailers and driver's preferences.
With either of these kits you plug it into the matching connector under your dashboard just above where the steering column goes through the firewall. The other end plugs into your brake controller.
