I got a new Sierra short bed with the multi tail gate. Does this cover work with the tailgate?

The TruXedo Pro X15 # TX1472601 fits your 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 as long as you have the 6-1/2 foot bed whether you have the Multi-Pro tailgate or not however, you won't be able to reach the grab handle which is a feature of that tailgate. Instead, use part # TX44FR for the version of the Pro X15 that allows access to the handle.
If you have the shorter 5-3/4 foot bed part # TX1472401 is the cover for Sierras without the Multi-Pro and part # TX64FR for those that do.
