in check out it does not tell me for sure that this 523145-1 will fit my 2009 Saturn aura the check vehicle chart does not have Saturn at all

Yes, the Roadmaster base plate kit part # 523145-1 that you referenced is perfectly compatible with the Roadmaster Stowmaster tow bar like the current version # RM-501 and the older model as well.
