Will a tow hitch from a 2005 dodge ram 1500 fit a 2016 ram 1500?

Unless the hitch from the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 is the # 75662 that mounts to the pre-existing crossmember/beam as shown in the provided diagram it won't fit. The 2005 Dodge Ram and the 2016 Ram 1500 have no other hitch fits in common.
