The Kat's Heaters Lower Radiator Hose Heater part # KH16500 will absolutely help your engine in cold temperatures working to provide smoother start-ups, keep your radiator hoses from becoming brittle, prevent antifreeze from freezing in extreme temperatures (- 37 C), as well as helping to heat the cab up faster. Please note, the Kat's Heaters Lower Radiator Hose Heater only works with 1-1/4" diameter lower radiator hoses but we do have other options if you have a different size (see list below). In order to install the unit you will simply cut the radiator hose, slide each end onto the heater, and then place the band clamps on but that's it.
