Check Engine Light Comes On Using the OBD Flasher for Truck Bed Cargo Camera Kit

Question:

plug your obd flasher into my port. the light changed green. My check engine light came on! also i do not have a control button on the lower part of the screen see picture. i have restarted the motor several different times no changes. i have 18.45.01 software on the radio. what next?

I spoke with GCH about the OBD Flasher for Truck Bed Cargo Camera Kit part # 3460019 and they informed me that you must unplug the device after the green light appears. If you still have a check engine light after the device is removed then they recommend to just restart the process.

In regards to the icon, you will need to navigate to the control screen. The icon will not appear on the bottom next to the radio and media icons etc. However, you can add the control icon here for a shortcut (see photo).
