Dimensions Of The RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover Canister

Question:

I need to know how big the box is that houses the tonneau cover—how much space does it take up? I searched the installation instructions and there is no mention. I carry surfboards and paddle boards and need to know how far down the boxes goes and how far out in the truck bed it protrudes. Thank you

When you say box I believe you are referring to the canister that the RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover part # RTT-80462 retracts into. The canister that the cover retracts into is 13-3/4" front to back and 11-5/8" top to bottom. You also want to have about 12" of clearance around the drain tube to avoid damage. The canister will sit underneath the tracks for the cover.
