Will it include instructions on how to install which side points toward engine?

The Replacement Vacuum Check Valve for Roadmaster InvisiBrake part # RM-452141 has an arrow on the case which shows the direction of flow. The arrow will need to be pointed towards the engine which you can see in the attached photo. There is also a red paint marking on the side that needs to be installed pointed towards the engine. There are no instructions included but the above is all you need to know for this part.
