You can flat tow a 2005 Dodge Dakota with an automatic transmission. If the truck is 4 wheel drive it's flat-towable as-is, but if it's rear wheel drive you'd have to install a lube pump (we don't offer) in the transmission. Be sure to follow all flat towing instructions/restrictions that are listed in owners manual of the truck as well.
For components to flat tow the vehicle you'll need a base plate kit like the # 52276-1, a tow bar like the Falcon # RM-522, ligthing/safety cables # RM-9243-1, and supplemental braking # BLU37TR.
