Is Silicone Needed For Kat's Heaters Oil or Transmission Pan Heating
Published 09/21/2019 >
Question:
Hello, Will this work on my 2014 Acura ILX 2.0? Also, does this pad come with aluminum silicone? If not, is it required in the installation like some competitors? Thanks

Yes, the Kat's Heaters Oil or Transmission Pan Heating Pad - 4" x 5" - 120V - 150 Watts part # KH24150 will work on the 2014 Acura ILX 2.0. The heating pad attaches the oil or transmission pan with very strong 3m tape. It is already sealed with a silicone material to resist oil and acid so the silicone is not needed.
