Question:

Will this storage box interfere with accessing the rear seat as the passenger seat back/bottom slides forward as the primary means of getting into/out of the rear seat? Also, will the rear of the box intrude into the somewhat limited foot space when someone is sitting in the rear seat on the passenger side?

As long as your 2008 Jeep JK has the sliding seats and not the fold/flip forward model seats that lift up and towards the front panel, you will be able to use the Bestop Underseat Locking Storage Box # B4264201 . The flip/fold forward seats were usually only found in the older YJ/TJ model Jeeps, but it's not outside the realm of possibility that someone swapped the seats if you're not the first owner. I have one of these in my 2007 JKU and they're great to have if you spend a lot of time without the top on.

If you wanted the box that fit under your driver's side front seat, you can use part # B4264001 .
