If the display for your Voyager WiSight Wireless RV Backup Camera # WVOS541 is blank/black but still appears to be paired correctly to the camera (as indicated by the "Ch1" notation on the screen) then there are a couple of things you can look at.

I first recommend verifying that the display monitor is set to AV1. It could simply be that the screen is currently on the wrong source and needs to be switched over to display what the camera is seeing. You do this by pressing the SELECT/PAIR button on the unit and toggling to AV1.

If this is good then you will want to note how the camera is wired. If you wired the power to the reverse circuit on your vehicle the display will only work when you are shifted in reverse, as this is what will actually power the camera. If it's hooked up to the running lights circuit you will want to make sure this function is activated in the vehicle.

Lastly just make sure that the antenna is tightly connected and pointed in a good direction for reception.

If you are still having trouble with this please let me know and I can look into this further.

If your lighting is working just fine then I'd start off by checking the connections from the camera to your lighting. You might also try moving the monitor closer to the camera to see if the wireless signal is being interrupted.

I’ll check that out. Funny thing is; when I asked the question we were in Colorado. The problem had been happening in OR, CA, AZ, UT, CO & WY. From SD thru WI, MN, MN & OH it worked like a charm and we hadn’t changed a thing. A coincidence and a short, I’m thinking. Thank you Jon! Happy travels!
