What is the fifth wheel to2 capacity of my 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Extended Cab 6.0 vortec?

If you look at the owner's manual for your 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD starting on page 4-71 you will see the listed towing capacities which vary by options such as axle ratio, drive type, etc. It looks like most of the 2500 models with 6.0 engine max out around 10,000 lbs but you would need to gather the above info in order to determine an exact capacity.
If you are able to find a 5th wheel trailer within your towing capacity then you can use the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30047 or part # RP30051 with the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit part # RP50064-58 to tow it. This option is cost effective, good quality, and fairly easy to install.
