The reason that the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4000958 isn't confirmed to fit your 2017 Chevy Silverado is because it is custom-tailored for 2017-2020 Ford Super Duty pickups.
For your Silverado 1500 you need part #A4001218 for a 5-1/2' bed, part #A24FR for a 6-1/2' bed, or part # A46FR for an 8' bed. This is the exact same ladder rack, just with the parts that make it compatible with your pickup.
