Does the bumber clear a factory installed receiver hitch?

The Westin Diamondstep Replacement Bumper, # 20009-92240, is a universal fit item (the installation kit is custom to the vehicle) so it should fit on a 2001 Dodge Ram with a factory installed trailer hitch. However, it will not fit if the truck came with tailgate lights.
What I recommend is to go with the Perfect Match Chrome Plated bumper, # 31005. This bumper is built to OEM specs and uses the mounting brackets from the original bumper.
