I checked with Dexter and the distance between the drop spindles of the Dexter Axle # 8327860 that you referenced is 82.34 inches.
The overall distance from hub face to hub face (when hubs are installed) will be 95 inches and the distance between the spring seats (where the axle attaches to the suspension) is 79-1/4 inches. The spindle drop is 4 inches and the axle has a 7,000 lb capacity.
