Power Distribution Stud Nut Sizes for Installing a Brake Controller on a 2007 Chevy Silverado

I did have to get under the hood to hook up the brake wires. the studs did not have any nuts on them. Are they metric and what size.

GM does not supply the attaching nuts required to secure the wires to the studs. These can be obtained locally. You will need (1) M6 x 1.0 nut, # 185916 and (1) M8 x 1.25 nut, # 185917. I have attached an FAQ for you that may also help.
