Will Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter Work with Freezer that Pulls 1.15 Amps

Question:
Do I need a pure sign wave inverter to power a domestic freezer? It is 5 cubic foot unit in my custom trailer conversion. The freezer uses 1.15 amps at 115 volts when the compresser is running. What size inverter do I need so that it will handle the start up surge. Will your 400 Watt inverter do the job and give me about 60 watts extra for other intermitant loads. I want to size my inverter for the longest possible run time on a 100 AH AGM sealed battery. What the efficiency at 50 load? What is the standby wattage or current used when no loads are applied?

A pure sine wave inverter is going to give you the cleanest AC power for your RV appliances like the freezer you have. It may not be totally necessary for a freezer but overall it will give you the most reliable performance and allow the freezer to last as long as possible.
The Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter # 34282692 that you referenced will have more than enough wattage for your freezer too. Your freezer uses 1.15 amps which in wattage is 138 watts. This is capable of supplying 400 watts running output and 800 watts surge. This would give you more than enough wattage without being overkill so it would be a great choice.
