Question:

I am interested in buying a pace edwards ultra groove tonneau. I wanted to be able to put a rack/crossbars on it but also be able to use the same rack/crossbars on the roof of my truck when needed. 1. Can this be done? 2. What parts do I need to do it? Thanks. 2018 F150 supercrew 5 1/2 ft short bed

In order to mount a set of cross bars onto a Pace Edwards Hard Tonneau Cover you would need to use the BedLocker part # 311-BEFA05A28, the JackRabbit part # 311-JEFA05A28, or the Full-Metal part # 311-FEFA05A28 because these are the only options that have the Explorer Rails which you need to use cross bars.

Once you choose one of the above three you can then add cross bars with the Thule ProBar Evo System part # TH713700, part # THKIT3101, and part # TH460R. This system can then be used on the roof of your 2018 Ford F-150 SuperCrew if you obtain part # TH710501 and part # TH145177. Unfortunately, there would be no way to transfer the entire system from the bed to your roof as they install in different ways but you can reuse the cross bars with the above option.
