Ventline Sidewall Vent V2215 Will Not Shut Off When Chain Is Pulled and Vent Is Closed

Question:

I have exhaust fan that is built into the wall. It uses a pull chain that opens and closes the exhaust door. My question is when you pull the chain to close the exhaust door. Theres a switch that turns off the fan when you pull up on the chain it pushes the switch closed, but it will only shut off for only a few seconds then the fan turns back on.

It sounds like you have a bad pressure switch. In order to replace this you will need to obtain the Replacement Switch for Ventline Sidewall Vent V2215 part # BV0140-03.
