Question:
I am looking to purchase a trailer hitch for a 2004 Acura MDX w 100k miles. Im going to be pulling at max 1500lbs about 200 miles 3-5 times a year. Trying to determine if I need the transmission and power steering coolers that are recommended by the manufacturer. Appreciate any insight you can provide.

A transmission cooler would be a great idea for you. Especially considering the mileage on your vehicle, the length of your trips with the trailer, and since your vehicle manufacturer recommends one. I attached an FAQ on transmission coolers for you to check out also.
Basically, the cooler you keep the transmission fluid, the longer the life of your transmission will be. The same is true for your power steering pump. The Derale Dyna-Cool Tube-Fin Transmission Cooler # D12906 that you referenced would be a good choice for you.
For a power steering fluid cooler I would recommend you get a Derale 2-Pass Tube-Fin Power Steering Cooler # D13200. Most of the information from the transmission cooler FAQ will apply to power steering coolers as well.
