The Bulldog model 947533 gooseneck hitch that you found is just the hitch itself so it's really a universal type fit. The install hardware and frame brackets used to install the hitch is what will be specific to your 1998 Dodge Ram 2500.

We do not have this particular Bulldog model available but we have checked with them before and it is essentially the same as the Hide-A-Goose Hitch from Reese. Because of this you can use the Installation Rail Kit # 4439 to install the Bulldog hitch on your truck and it will work perfectly.

This is a custom kit that will use existing holes in your Ram's frame rails so you don't have to drill into them, allowing for much easier and quicker install process. I have the installation instructions along with a video that you can use for reference.
