Is There a Temperature Increase When Using Dipstick Heater from Kat's

Question:

I plan to use this heater in a 1946 Taylorcraft airplane equipped with a Contenental 65 horse power engine with a 5 QT. oil sump. The sump is a kidney shaped and the dipstick will be emersed to a depth of app 6foot The aircraft will be enclosed in an unheated hangar. What temperature should I expect the oil to rise to aprox, and how long will it take to reach that temperature? What should the temperature be of the heater element?

That's a really hard number to give. Kat's is reluctant to give out any specific temperature changes but they state that it's important to install the heater in the car with then engine still slightly warm from operation. Realistically it won't make a really large difference as it's basically designed to help the engine retain heat from running previously.
