Hey would like to know that's i bought 2009 dodge nitro and i have 7pin plug wiring but dont know how to hookup the stop light in plug diagram said left and right flashing light same as stop but didnt know how to install it And all so i dont know what to do with positive and négative câble I have frond the left and right flash cable and back up light and night light The problem now how to hook up stop light and how to install the positive and nigative wire All so I want buy break controller so please help how to install this 7pin wire from rear light .or how do I do Thank you As soon as figure it out will buy the brake control from the site to install it

It sounds like you are trying to install a 7-way trailer connector on your 2009 Dodge Nitro. The issue I am sure you are having is that the vehicle you have uses a separate lighting system which means the turn and stop light circuits are on different wires. In order to install a trailer connector you will need to combined these circuits with a converter box. In order to prevent splicing I recommend using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118554 which plugs in behind the tail lights. Then once you have the 4-way installed you can then use an adapter to get to a 7-way, the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7.
The Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller will use the 4-way plug you just installed prior and then require you to run three other wires; ground, power, and brake output. The white wire is the ground and will need to be attached to a clean metal surface. The black wire is for 12 volt power and will need to be run to the vehicle's battery. The blue wire is for brake output and will need to be run to the brake controller in the cab. However, if you use the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 which is what I recommend then you don't have to run this blue wire.
The Echo is a relatively new brake controller that is gaining a lot of popularity. The reason for this is because it does not require any modifications to the tow vehicle, it just plugs into the 7-way and you use your phone to customize settings and activate the manual override. The other major reason as to the growing popularity of this brake controller is because it uses a device you are already comfortable using (your phone), you do not need to read an entire comprehensive manual and familiarize yourself with the controls and codes to use it. Please note that if your phone loses power the brake controller will still function as normal.
