Hello! Need an engine heater for a detroit diesel 6-71. What heater would work best do you think? Do we wrap the battery or put it under the oil pan? Thank you

If you wanted a battery heating pad for underneath the battery you'd want the part # KH22600 that you referenced or if you were looking for something that wraps around it you'd want the part # KH22300. If I were you I'd go with the wrapped style of heater unless you don't have the room for it.
The best option we have for an engine heater would be a pad that attaches to the oil pan like the part # KH26150. Using a pad like this with a battery heater would make cold start ups MUCH easier on your truck.
