Can Kat's Heaters Oil/Transmission Pan Heating Pad # KH26150 Bend to Fit Smaller Oil Pan

Question:
Hi. I have a 2009 Mercedes Sprinter. I bought myself a 1000 watt oil pan heater but the oil pan doesn’t have a big enough flat surface for this heater. Is it ok to install the pad and it has a bend in it kinda wraping around onto the side?

Yes, it would be fine to have the heater pad curve along the surface of the oil pan. As long as all of the pad is contacting the oil pan you are fine.
