I have a prowler 26 ft camper your suggestion on the correct hitch to buy I do have a weight distribution system for the camper

To pull your 26 foot Prowler Camper (which looks to have a weight of around 6,000 pounds) with your 2017 Ram 1500 I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75232. This Class III hitch features a 10,000 pound towing weight capacity for a healthy safety margin and it will use existing holes in the truck's frame for a no-drill installation.
