Question:

Hello: I have what I believe is a g2 trac rac system which I bought on Maui in about 2010 which was installed on my 2008 Nissan Frontier. The vendor who sold me the system also installed it. A few months ago I notice. That on of the two basic structures that comprise the rac was very wobbly from side to side. In in order to remedy the problem I disassembled that wobbly section completely apartin hopes of finding a loose bolt which was responsible for the wobble. I did, in fact, discover one or two bolts that were not adequately tightened that may have been responsible for the wobble. Anyway, during the disassembly I encountered a bolt lodged into On of the “leg proceed that had rusted solid in the upright leg. Left side leg I’d looking n the direction of the truck’s cabin In he process of attempting to remove the bolt, the bolt broke. Tried to extract to no avail. Is the an upright for sale?

For the TracRac G2 Ladder Rack on your Nissan Frontier we have the Replacement Upright # TA7521902002. The upright itself measures 22-3/4 inches tall so I do recommend verifying that this matches your existing upright in case you have a slightly older model. If you also need the Tie-Down Cleat you can use part # TA01-27046.
