Trimmable Truck Bed Mat for 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Question:

Does the weather tech bed mat have places that can be cute out for factory ford gooseneck hitch? Some pics I’ve looked at shows the mat having ridges running the whole length others show places without the ridges where the ball and puck locations are. My thoughts if ridges run full length of mat it would be impossible to cut it out to fit and look right I have included one pic that shows a mat without the ridges in those areas in which you could cute out. Any help?

You can install a truck bed mat in your 2017 Ford F-250 with the factory 5th wheel/gooseneck prep so long as you trim the mat to allow full metal-on-metal contact of the hitch to the installation rails. There cannot be any part of the mat trapped between the hitch and the installation rails; you must have full metal on metal contact for proper installation and safe operation.

For instance, for the 8-foot bed with or without the factory step gate the DeeZee custom nyracord mat # DZ87012 is a confirmed fit. This 3/8-inch thick mat can be trimmed to work with the factory prep.

The WeatherTech TechLiner Custom Truck Bed Mat # WT39601 is designed for long bed Ford trucks up to 2016 but it is not a fit for your 2017 Ford F-250.
