Troubleshooting PL Error Code on Prodigy P2 Brake Controller

Question:

I had the prodigy 2 installed and I bumped it with my leg and now it flashes p.l what do I do

The "P.L." code you are seeing on the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 means that there is a power interruption while the brake pedal is depressed. From my experience, this means that you have a poor ground on the white wire or short on the black power wire. If you check the wiring of the controller near where you bumped it you'll probably see where the bad connection is and you'll be able to fix it as needed.
