Do you have a lock that will fit my 2004 Dodge Dakota? Have you had any problems with it working? thanks for your recommendation.

For your 2004 Dodge Dakota we have the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock - Power # PAL8100. This powered tailgate lock is confirmed to fit your truck and will wire into the existing power door locks so that when you lock your truck, your tailgate locks along with it. If your Dakota doesn't have existing power locks you can simply add the Switch Kit # PAL9520 which will put a switch inside the cab that you can use the lock and unlock the tailgate.

This is a really nice system and we have not heard of any issues from customers regarding this lock working for your Dodge Dakota. I have attached a short video demonstration on the lock along with the written installation instructions that you can also check out.
