How to Remove Old Thule Lock Core and Install New One

Question:
My friend broke the lock to get the thule atlantis 2100 to open because he lost the key. We later find out that we can order the key by the code on the lock. I want to know how to remove the key cylinder because the key hole look very bad. Do I need to replace the lock and lock housing? And If I need to replace the lock housing, what is the part number and where can I get it. Thank you

If the lock core is still functional it can be removed and replaced. It'll have to be in the unlocked position so that the change key # 853-1251 can insert and release the core. Once removed you'd need to put the change key in the new lock core like the # THLOCKN001 which would then use the replacement key part # THKEYN001.
