Question:
I have a 20K lb BandW fifth wheel hutch. I see where you recommended using Reese Accessories and Parts - RP83002 for it. I am a novice fifth wheel owner and am wondering about the advisability of using 2 lube plates? Is that “overkill” or would it be helpful friction between the lube plates rather than on the hutch skid plate and or the kingpin?? Thanks for your advice.

I don't think it would hurt anything to use 2 of the Reese Lube Plate # RP83002 for towing with a B&W 5th wheel hitch like part # BWRVK3300, but I also don't think it would really help either.
I recommend just using one lube plate at a time to make sure you get the most out of each lube plate. Since these only have a diameter of 10" and only measure 0.192" thick it wouldn't be difficult to keep some in storage.
