What is the tongue weight or vertical load rating for the part # C48640 kit? Thanks

The Curt Lunette Ring with 5-Position Adjustable Channel - 3" Diameter - 12,000 lbs # C48640 is not rated for a vertical load or tongue weight capacity. Lunette rings are designed for more heavy duty applications and are not rated in the same way as ball mounts. Your tongue weight will only be restricted by the vehicle or trailer hitch the pintle hitch is connected to. I confirmed this with my tech contact at Curt.
