why cant u put this hitch on a square slider? will it not fit is it to big i have them both

Bascially, you can put the head from the Reese 16K 5th Wheel Hitch, # RP30047, on a square slider, # RP30048. But you would remove the legs for that. The legs cannot be fitted to the slider, just the head of the hitch.
The same head, # RP58146, and cross member, # RP58147, are used on both the stationary 5th wheel RP30047 and the slider version, # RP30051.
