Question:
Can some of the gals comment on the ease of loading and unloading using this carrier? thanks! I am no weakling but at 5’6 and many shoulder injuries, it is a concern.

Our customers that have submitted a review of the Yakima SUPDawg Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier # Y04075 have in total given it a very high rating, but since only one of these reviewers is a woman I cannot give you much in the way of testimonials from a woman of similar stature.
But I can suggest a handy and low-cost item that might help you out with your concerns about the loading/unloading process. The Telesteps folding step # TE97FR is an inexpensive fully-assembled folding aluminum step stool that weighs only 2 pounds or so but it still instantly provides almost a foot of extra reach. I own one of these and I find it handy around the garage and the kitchen for reaching those top cabinet shelves.
