Gooseneck Ball Hole Cover and 5th Wheel Hitches for 2011 Ford F-350 with Factory Prep Package

Updated 09/17/2018 | Published 09/15/2018

Question:

I need rings and covers for the ford factory 5th wheel/gooseneck that is installed in my truck. I see you list parts for 5th wheel rail kit and plugs. how about the ring that goes around the goose neck ball receiver and a plug for that. Also where can I get info on parts I would need to install 5th wheel and how it works. I have a 2011 f350 8 foot box with the factory package installed.

For a plug that will fit the gooseneck ball hole in your 2011 Ford F-350 with the factory 5th wheel/gooseneck prep package you can use # RP30136. A trim ring for the gooseneck hole is not available.

I will be happy to help you out with a 5th wheel hitch. There are several that will fit directly into the puck system in your truck:

B&W Companion 20K # BWRVK3300
B&W Companion 25K # BWRVK3305
Curt 20K # C16034
Curt 24K # C16036
Demco 21K # DM8550033
Reese 20K # RP30921
Reese 27K # RP30922

I have linked videos of all of these hitches for you. If it were me I would go with one of the B&W Companion hitches. They are extremely well made which will provide you with years of service. And they offer some front to back adjustability if you need or want a little more clearance between the truck and trailer when towing.

The only other part I recommend, if you don't have one already, is an in-bed 7-Way trailer connector # C56000. This will make hooking up the trailer easier without the need of an extension cable.
