Does the CE Smith Light Duty Vertical Bunk Bracket Have a Weight Capacity
Updated 09/11/2018 | Published 09/10/2018 >
Question:
Is there a weight rating for these? I will be using them for a 14’ whaler and want to make sure they will support it. Also, if my trailer already has mounting holes through the frame, can I just use the two bolt holes or will I still need to use a U bracket? Thanks.

I spoke to my contact at CE Smith and they informed me that the CE Smith Light Duty Vertical Bunk Bracket part # CE10600G does not have a weight capacity. However, so long as you use multiple for each board you should not have any issues with your 14" Boston Whaler. You can use the pre drilled holes in your frame rail to install the bracket so long as they align within the 6" long x 7/16" wide slot.
