Battery Charger Recommendation to Charge Trailer Battery from Alternator and Solar Panel

Question:

...Im running the RedArc BCDC1225D? which Ive yet to buy, but Im making one order for everything I need The 1225D will have solar and alternator input and manage one 12V start battery and 1 24volt bank of 2 12v 165AhAGMs. I should be able to manage the charging of those batteries in any fashion necessary with the BCDC, to include reversing flow to charge the start batt from the 24v bank and also voltage ping to match the start batt voltage, correct?

The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-SBI12KIT that you referenced can manage input current from a solar panel and an alternator as well as 12 volts to 24 volts so you'd be totally fine to use this. You would not be able to reverse the flow of the charge though and go from the battery bank you are charging back to the vehicle. It only allows charging in one direction. I attached a chart that shows how this wires up as well.
