etrailer.com: I am mounting our Thule Adventurer box onto our 2018 Subaru Outback, Touring Model. I need 4 inch spacing between the holes on the box hardware. What is the distance between the bolt holes in this part? #TH04973. If possible please advise.

I went down to the warehouse to measure the distance between the holes of the Replacement Quick On/Off Bracket # TH04973 and found from center to center it was 4 inches. I used digital calipers to ensure the accuracy of this measurement. Just between the holes - not the center of the hole - it is 3-11/16".
This bracket is the correct replacement for your Thule Adventurer cargo box; it can also be found as part of the Replacement QM3 - Quick Mount Hardware - for Adventurer Cargo Box # TH04997.
