What are the dimensions and instructions for locating the 5th wheel rails in a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 dually with 8foot bed and no overload springs. Can I use 30439 kit since I have the base rails? Thanks

A 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually with no overload springs would be a rare truck. I would double check with the dealer (have them run the VIN) to make sure just in case.
Right now, there is only one installation kit that will fit the 2012 Dodge Ram 3500, with or without overload springs. It is the CURT Custom Installation Kit, # C16420-104. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
The instructions include a diagram showing rail placement. The rear edge of the back rail will be 28-3/8 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed on long bed trucks. That would put the center of the 5th wheel hitch jaws over the center of the rear axle.
It is not recommended to mix rail and bracket manufacturers because they have not been tested with each other so I advise replacing the whole kit.
