As long as it’s within the weight limit, can this be used with a pin to tow a trailer with a lunette ring?

As long as your trailer equipped with a lunette ring is within the 5,000 lb weight limit of the MaxxTow # MT70034 and your lunette ring fits within the tangs of the clevis hitch (see attached photos) you can definitely use this with a lunette ring. Please note that your lunette ring can't be more then 2-1/2" thick.
You will also need a hitch pin & clip like part # PC3 or a locking hitch pin like part # e98880, as well as the clevis pin itself like part # CP20.
