Question:
I ordered two power vent switches last night. In looking at the video today I am confused. I need an on off switch and the video looks like if pushed it works and once released it turns off. I have a vent fan in my vent and just need an on off. Will this switch do this?

Push Button Switch for Power Vents # DG52451VP is a momentary switch. It is meant to be installed so that when the vent lid is closed it holds the button in which cuts off power to the vent fan. When the lid opens the button is released and it will allow power to go to the fan.
Personally I like toggle switches such as # PK34513 because there is just something satisfying about flipping a switch like it.
