Question:
I have a wheel chair carrier with a 2 in arm can i get an adapter from 1 an 1quater to 2 inch

Expert Reply:
The only 1-1/4" to 2" hitch adapter that is available to use with the Class I Curt # C11325 trailer hitch on your 2009 Hyundai Sonata is the Brophy # HTAD.
Please keep in mind this will reduce the tongue weight capacity of your hitch by 50 percent, so the combined capacity of your wheelchair carrier and wheelchair would not be able to exceed 100 lbs.
If you want to keep the 200 lb capacity of your hitch you need a new cargo carrier that is Class I compatible such as the Curt # C18110. This is a 19 X 47 carrier with a mesh floor.
