Question:

I have a 2017 Ram 1500 with the 5.5’ foot bed, without the RamBox option. I have a Revolver X2 bed cover, which means my stake pockets are exposed, but I do not have the ability to clamp a ladder rack or mount one inside the bed. I would prefer a single side, “Y style” rack that works with the stake pockets, but am open to other options that are easily removable. I am a Superintendent for a construction company, so I occasionally need to haul a ladder or a few longer items, so a large weight capacity isn’t critical. What is out there for my application?

We have a great ladder rack solution for your 2017 Ram 1500 with a 5-1/2 foot bed. For that you'd want the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Ladder Rack part # TH43003XT-784. This will work great with the Bak Revolver tonneau cover # BAK39207 you have installed in the bed of your truck.

Actually your tonneau cover is the only one that can be used with the TracRac so you made a great choice by buying that cover!
