Hi, Im looking at getting either a Yakima ridgeback or fulltilt with 4 bike capacity to use with this hitch on a 2016 e-class wagon with this hitch receiver. Do you know if this part will accomodate those? Yakimas website has some fit tips that require measuring hitch stops/holes/bumper clearance Thank you for your help!

For your 2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Class I # C11404 is a confirmed fit. Due to the fact it is a Class I hitch, you can install a 4 bike rack like the Yakima Ridgeback # Y02458 but Yakima does not recognize the fit. Yakima does not make a bike rack they confirm will fit a Class I trailer hitch.
Curt doesn't have the weld stop in their Class I hitches, so it will most likely fit but it won't be covered under warranty. Class I hitches will only allow 2 bikes to be carried even if the rack is rated for more and you will see a note on those bike racks limiting the capacity to 2 bikes for Class I hitches.
If you want a bike carrier that is confirmed to fit, I recommend the Swagman Titan 2 Bike Rack # S63400. If you want the 4-bike for compatibility on another vehicle, then I recommend the Swagman Titan 4 Bike Rack # S63410. With either of these use the hitch lock # S64029 to secure your carrier.
You may want to add a bike adapter bar like # 64005 for any step through frame bikes.
