The Pack Em Trimmer Rack # PK-6 does not have a specified distance from the back of your trailer. The uprights are to be spaced a minimum of 3 feet apart, but the rear most support can be at the very back of the trailer if you desire, but in that case you would need to put a red flag on the end of your trimmer. For a minimum distance, you can put the engine end of the trimmer at the furthest point back and then determine how far in from the end a support can be placed based on that.
My recommendation is to put your trimmer up to your trailer where you would like it and then find the middle point to split the distance of your uprights so they are at least 3 feet apart and properly supporting the weight as the motor end will be heavier than the corded end.
I've attached a video to assist.
