I recently purchased this aluminum roof rack and was wondering if there are any recommendations for a good wind fairing that fits this rack? also, what is the difference between a $20 fairing and a $100 fairing? Thank you!

To answer your first question about 80 bucks. But seriously a lot has to do with the application, size, construction, and brand in terms of fairing cost.
What I recommend is one of the Rhino-Rack universal fairings. They come in a variety of lengths and can fit just about anything (although in this case you may have to attach the fairing directly to cargo basket # 288-09200 by drilling into the basket).
The shortest Rhino-Rack option, and probably the best fit, is the 38 inch model # RRRF2. There is also a 32 inch model, # RRRF1, a 44 inch model, # RRRF3, and a 50 inch model, # RRRF4.
